Rodger & Hammerstein's Timeless Cinderella

A modern classic in its own right, Rodger and Hammerstein's Cinderella first enchanted audiences on the small screen in a televised production starring the inimitable Julie Andrews. Its latest incarnation charmed Broadway in 2013, winning a Tony Award for Best Costume and running for over 800 performances. Now its musical magic comes to Ivins' Tuachan Amphitheatre during a spell-binding locally produced run, pumpkin, glass slipper, talking mice and all!

Cinderella's well known story is given new life thanks to some of Rodger and Hammerstein's most memorable songs, including 'Impossible/It's Possible', 'Ten Minutes Ago' and 'Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?', as well as lavish costume and stage designs that transport the audience to a land far, far away. Whilst Cinderella's happy ever after is never in doubt, there are still some surprising new twists thrown into the fairy tale formula for good measure - this feisty heroine is in control of her own destiny!
