She is a writer, comedian, producer actress who often covers topics including her childhood as a Mexican-American in Texas and her journey of following her dreams to become a comedian. Alonzo broke ground as the first Latina lead in a Disney Pixar film as the voice of Cruz Ramirez in Cars, and the first Latina to produce, conceive, and star in her own sitcom on ABC.
