I love when an artist steps forward and expresses a new vision of their craft and interpretation of how they see/experience the world in which we live. In this regard, Corinne nailed it! Her confidence to explore new expressions while staying true to her roots was inspiring. My only complaint was that she was overwhelmed by her band to the extent that I was able to only hear/understand 10% of her words. For an artist that expresses herself through her lyrics, it was, well, disappointing to not be able to hear/understand her words! It felt like they were playing in Soldier Field, not Cahn Auditorium. I just wish they would have dialed the band back a bit. ... Read more
