SO MUCH FUN, A LOT OF FUN
Great show, Paula plays all the hits. Super entertaining.
Paula Abdul- forever your girl
Best show i’ve ever seen in Vegas. She connected with the crowd with here down to earth style. She even at the end of show went through every row of lower area for audience interaction.
Bigger fan now than before
great show. If you were alive in the 90’s you owe it to yourself to see this show. I learned things about her past that make her success even more remarkable. She moves like someone 20 years younger.
A Celebration & A Surprisingly Intimate Autobiography
Paula Abdul pleased all her true fans in the hall in Lynn last night with a creative multimedia production & a very open-hearted, unguarded retelling of the highs and lows of her career. AND she looked and danced like she was half her age! Abdul was always a dancer and choreographer first and a singer second. It's true anyone who came to her sing live was disappointed - she used the original recording (I think) of all her songs (although, come to think of it, the opening bars of 'Cold- Hearted Snake' were sung jazz-style) and focused instead on the dancing. And what dancing there was! Wow. Abdul was always a thrill to watch dance, and she still is. She had a small team of top-notch dancers with her. Abdul's choreography is a joy and a pleasure to watch. I was enthralled. I sat near the back of the floor section (which looked sold out to me). We were on our feet dancing for at least half the show, at Abdul's encouragement, and it was a blast. (No one left early, as far as I could tell.)
The Crowd was on Their Feet!
It was a fantastic show! From the moment Paula stepped onto the stage until the finally, the New Buffalo, MI crowd were on their feet singing and dancing. Including such a variety of technology brought the music alive for a new generation; all enhanced by the theatrical events displayed chronicling Paula's journey. If you want to stand on your feet, singing and dancing along with this dynamic performer, take your feet to see this show!...even if you have to drive four hours like our crowd did!
GREAT SHOW BUT ONE HUGE CAVEAT
Absolutely great show with one major problem. It can only be seen well from the floor. DON’T SIT IN THE BALCONY! Even front row balcony seats can only see the main portion of the stage. Paula starts the show from the middle of the floor. Couldn’t see it. She moves to a platform that sticks into the front rows. Even standing up couldn’t see it. The Emcee does things in the same area and further toward back of floor audience. Couldn’t see it. Performers (Paula and others) go on the floor and couldn’t see it. Seriously, hasn’t ANYONE from this production watched it even once from the balcony?!?! It’s a very simple fix. Add one camera person to show action on the floor on the two screens that are up and on each side. And to top it all off...per staff there is NO ELEVATOR! Two 70+ people in our group were literally in pain after climbing up and later down almost three stories! A real shame to have such an otherwise great show ruined.
