KING AND COUNTRY - TULSA, OK 12/23

I saw fK&C in Tulsa 12/23 I was not that pleased. I’m sure they’re great singers with good music but heard little else over the sound of mostly drums except their voices. Violin was head a little buy never heard but never the cello or harmonica. Vocals could be heard but I not words. Sometimes the volume was almost painful. Lastly and although I can’t really be sure, it seemed to me a large portion of the sound was prerecorded as it seemed that were always bass drums pounding even when no one on stage was visibly doing it as well as some synth like keyboards. We saw them sing on “Christmas with the Chosen” and they were very good. I’m sure their fans loved the lights and props of the show but I go to a musical performance for the music.

IF YOU LIKE EAR PIERCING LOAD

Wife and I left during intermission. Hard to appreciate all the drums and the volume cranked pass anything comfortable. The volume thing kind of points at our society today. Saw in Rapid City SD Nov 11, 2021.

THE NEW BOY BAND

What happened to you guys? Somewhere between your concert in April (Pittsburgh, PA) and December (Hershey, PA) you've lost yourselves. Your jokes are tired, your Thanksgiving miracle recitation is tired, and your elevator pitches for your various movies, books, and charities is tired. Even your crowd is different. The women screaming are for your bodies, not your music. We had two fall down drunk women in front of us last night clutching on complete strangers ready to vomit. In the interest of iron sharpening iron, I have to tell you that you've lost me. I don't believe your sound or lyrics anymore. You used God's shoulders to climb where you are but forgot where you came from. You aren't the lead actors in your own story, but supporting actors in His. Nothing about last night glorified God. A Christmas concert that had zero reverence at all. What I saw was a show, an act, a performance that not even y'all believe anymore. We left during intermission. I pray you get back to your roots.
