GREAT THEATER, BAND NOT SO MUCH

We had great seats and loved the theater, however lead singer for REO was sick and they trucked in a cover band to waste and hour and then REO tried to perform and it was a train wreck. I feel as if I wasted $300 on a high school band gathering. Why was this concert not canceled and rescheduled? If the lead singer is so sick that he can not hardly speak how can REO justify taking everyone's money for a sing along. Completely feel ripped off by a band I have always loved so much

THOUGHT THIS WOULD MAKE A NICE XMAS PRESENT FOR THE WIFE

Very disappointed that they called this a concert. Cover band was good but that’s not who I paid for. They could have lip synced and put on a better performance.

REO @ RUTH ECKERD

Horrible! Went to celebrate our 40 th anniversary , having loved REO that long and it was terrible. The music was unrecognizable because of the volume and the terrible sound system. Waste of money and time. Very disappointed.

TERRIBLE SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality was terrible. For one, it was too loud, and the two the lyrics were muffled. We left along with the majority of the others before it was over. It wasn't the venue, it's the band. The warm up band was fine, REO was a big disappointment.

SOUND LEVEL WAS 110 DB.

REO's Sound engineer should be fired. I opened up my db app about 3 songs in and it registered 110db. Not only was the sound dangerously loud, it was distorted. I am a fan of REO Speedwagon and they are talented. No need to blast the music so loud it is unlistenable. My friend and I walked out and spoke to a casino rep and I asked if others were walking out. She said plenty. I showed her the db reading and she went in to speak to the sound engineer who said he would lower the volume. He lowered it by 10 db...Still registering 100+. We left the concert 6 songs in. At 85 decibels, the maximum recommended exposure time is 8 hours. By 100 decibels, the noise exposure limit drops to 15 minutes, and at 10 decibels more (110 dB), the risk exposure time plummets to just one minute. Exposure to sound levels for longer than that could result in permanent hearing loss. The sound engineer for REO Speedwagon must be deaf.
