my 6th time seeing the boys. i was front row center. don't know why im doing a review, as i haven't hardly any words to describe it. such talent, such perfection, such beauty. it was like a dream to me. Sound was amazing and the lights who was almost louder than the music, intense. seeing alt j perform right in front of you, it changes your life.. they are so generous and love their fans. I got a setlist, drum sticks and a sweaty towel! Great venue... great crowd. Do yourself a favor and go see alt j. if you love music, even in the slightest, you will love them. xx

I’m not even an avid alt-J fan, but I read a review about their live show, and I was intrigued. Going out on a “school night” is always a risk, as I typically go to be early. THIS SHOW WAS WORTH IT, and then some! Weird, beautiful, exhilarating, delightful, intense- are just a few words I’d use to describe the experience. And I’m pretty sure my nervous system was re-wired by the lights- in a good way. I couldn’t stop smiling afterwards. For the first time in a long time, I feel like a cool kid, having gone to that show.
