Over 70% had attended a live event (theatre, opera, concert or comedy) last year between one and six times, but in the last three months over 90% had seen nothing at all. That's not surprising, given the widespread shutdown of all live venues due to the virus. What is interesting, is that over half of the respondents felt it was likely that they might be able to return to see a live event sometime in the next three months.

Most Broadway theatres around the USA have moved the remainder of their 2020 productions to next year, or even had to cancel shows. In some cases, annual Holiday productions such as The Nutcracker have also been cancelled for the upcoming season. It therefore seems unlikely that audiences will have many live events to attend, despite their optimism.
